The design’s centerpiece is the bar, where guests can sit on its three independent sides and watch as chefs create their meal. A mirror affixed to the top of the back bar shines down on the artisans hands, so those not lucky enough to snag a countertop seat can still watch as they work away.
Executive Chef Sarah Grueneburg didn’t know what she wanted her first restaurant to look like, but she was sure that it would be authentic and all about the pasta. And so together, with Studio K, Monteverde was born, a restaurant where the pasta takes center stage.
